I was up the creek without the proverbial paddle. I am
the owner of a computer store in a small town in BC. One
of our technicians had gone onsite to work on a computer
for a very important client. He connected his backup
drive to backup their data before working on the
computer. He couldn't make
the drive work and decided to proceed with formatting
the drive and reinstalling windows after copying the
info he thought was important to the server. After
reinstalling windows he realized that a custom MS Access
database would not run even after he restored the actual
database files. He had forgotten to backup the file that
held the security settings for the passworded database.
I feel very fortunate that I was able to find the
Recovery Team and that they were able to reconstruct the
password file. They really saved the day! I would
strongly recommend their services to anyone.
